8 naturally caffeine free blends packed full of flavour and goodness.
When we launch a new product it has to retain the integrity and quality that you have come to expect of Dilmah. For that reason we have ensured these infusions are based on the goodness of amazing ingredients like Green Rooibos, Turmeric, Cinnamon along with delicious flavours like Mango, Orange and Tangerine. Some of the flavours are popular classics such as Ginger & Peppermint and others are a little more adventurous like Chocolate, Turmeric, Ginger & Almond! Unlike many other products on the market that rely on sweeteners and excessive flavouring, these are packed with real ingredients so don’t expect a dunk and drink to give you the best flavour. As always we encourage the full steeping in hot water for 3 minutes to extract the depth of flavour from components like Ginger and Turmeric.
If you have any questions check our FAQ at the bottom of the page first.

Q: Do any of these infusions contain caffeine?
A: No they are totally caffeine free.
Q: Does the chocolate infusion contain actual chocolate including sugar?
A: Full ingredients are listed on the packs, if an ingredient is not listed but is shown in the product name then it is included as a flavouring. We use flavouring sparingly and no sugar or sweeteners compared to some brands who rely on sweeteners. So don’t expect it to be a sweet hot chocolate, it’s just one component in the blend.
Q: What is Green Rooibos?
A: Rooibos or Red Rooibos (Redbush) is more commonly known compared to the lighter version of Green Rooibos. They come from the same plant full of antioxidants and goodness but like Green Tea compared to Black tea, the only difference is in the processing. Red Rooibos is fermented (oxidised) whereas Green Rooibos is unfermented (un-oxidised). Oxidation darkens the leaf so Green Rooibos like green Tea is lighter and smoother.
Q: Should I add milk to any of these?
A: Two infusions in this range can handle a little milk because they contain Red Rooibos which has enough colour and body to handle the addition of milk. The ‘Cinnamon, Ginger, Turmeric & Nutmeg’ and the ‘Chocolate, Turmeric, Ginger & Almond’ blends made nice and strong make a lovely warm spice chai with milk added! All the rest should be enjoyed on their own.
Q: Which of these are best Iced?
A: All of these can be Iced but the ‘Cinnamon, Ginger, Turmeric & Nutmeg’ and the ‘Chocolate, Turmeric, Ginger & Almond’ use Red Rooibos which has a little more body to it and are probably going to be enjoyed hot more than iced.
Q: Why can’t I taste all the flavours listed?
A: You’d be amazed at how much opinion varies on this… some will pick out certain flavours that others simply don’t. Some of our blends combine a very delicate balance of numerous ingredients so any one flavour may not be predominant in some blends. We always encourage people to make sure they’ve fully steeped the infusion for 3 minutes in hot water because some of the key ingredients such as Ginger or Turmeric are a root that require longer to fully extract. However everyones taste is different and we don’t expect everyone to like the same thing. We very much value your opinions so do message us here or on Facebook to let us know constructive feedback.
Q: How do you flavour your teas?
A: To understand how we flavour some of our teas and infusions see here for an in depth explanation: http://www.dilmah.co.nz/facts-of-tea/how-is-dilmah-tea-flavoured/
